RFA released for Carolinas Collaborative grants

North and South Carolina are home to 4 CTSA hubs — Duke University, the Medical University of South Carolina, the UNC-Chapel Hill/RTI partnership, and Wake Forest University — who have partnered with Health Sciences South Carolina (HSSC) to create the Carolinas Collaborative, a data resource that harmonizes the electronic health record data across the institutions to expedite clinical research and quality improvement.

In order to promote inter-institutional collaborations and increase utilization of the resources, the 4 CTSAs are soliciting proposals involving at least 2 of the Carolina CTSAs that utilize the data available from the Carolinas Collaborative to generate new knowledge and improve the quality of care delivered to patients in the Carolinas.

Please consult the website and RFA for more details.

An informational webinar will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 from Noon – 1pm Eastern standard time. This optional webinar will include an overview of the Carolinas Collaborative and the pilot RFA, followed by time for questions. Interested investigators from all institutions are welcome to join.
